I originally bought the WiMiUS P62 Pro thinking it would only come out for the occasional movie night.
Instead, it slowly became the screen we reached for most often. There’s just something fun about watching movies on a giant projected image that makes even ordinary Netflix nights feel a little more special.
What is the WiMiUS P62 Pro?
The WiMiUS P62 Pro is a smart projector with native 1080p resolution, support for 4K input, built-in Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Dolby Audio, and automatic focus and keystone correction. The idea is to provide an all-in-one entertainment setup without needing a separate streaming stick.
It’s designed for home theaters, bedrooms, gaming setups, and outdoor movie nights.
Why I Tried It
I wasn’t necessarily looking to replace a television. I simply wanted something that could create that “home cinema” feeling without spending thousands of dollars.
What attracted me most was the fact that Netflix was officially built in. I’ve owned projectors before that required workarounds and extra devices, and I really wanted something simpler this time.
My Experience Using It
The setup was much easier than I expected. The autofocus and auto-keystone features handled most of the work, so I wasn’t standing there endlessly adjusting the picture every time I moved the projector. That convenience alone made me use it more often.
The image quality impressed me in dark rooms. Movies looked sharp, colours were vibrant enough for casual viewing, and the huge screen size made everything feel far more immersive than watching on a regular TV. Family movie nights genuinely became more enjoyable.
The built-in apps were another pleasant surprise. Having Netflix available immediately without plugging in a Fire Stick or another device made the whole experience feel more polished.
I also appreciated the speakers more than I expected. For casual viewing, I didn’t always feel the need to connect external audio. That said, the projector definitely has limitations.
Brightness was the biggest one for me. During the day, or even with moderate ambient lighting, the picture loses a lot of its impact. This is definitely a projector that performs best in darker environments.
I also think the “4K” marketing can be a little misleading. It accepts 4K content, but the projector itself is still a native 1080p machine.
For movies and streaming, I was happy. For serious competitive gaming, I probably wouldn’t choose it.
Build Quality & Feel
The unit feels lightweight and easy to move around. It doesn’t have the premium feel of expensive Epson or BenQ projectors, but it also doesn’t feel flimsy. The design is simple and functional, and the controls are easy to understand.

Most of the major claims held up fairly well.
The built-in streaming apps work, the automatic setup features save time, and the sound quality is surprisingly decent for a projector in this price range.
Where expectations need adjusting are brightness and 4K. This isn’t a true 4K projector, and it isn’t bright enough to compete with daylight.
Is It a Scam?
No. The WiMiUS P62 Pro delivers the features it advertises and offers good value for people who want an affordable home cinema experience.
I think disappointment mostly happens when buyers expect premium projector performance from a budget-friendly model.
How to Use
I found the projector performed best after sunset or in rooms with blackout curtains.
If you’re planning outdoor movie nights, waiting until it gets properly dark makes a huge difference in picture quality.

Conclusion — Would I Recommend It?

What it does offer is a surprisingly enjoyable movie experience, simple setup, and enough convenience that I found myself using it far more often than I originally planned.
For family movie nights, casual gaming, and binge-watching shows, it ended up being one of those purchases that brought more enjoyment than I expected.
