I’ve tried a few different products aimed at improving hair growth and reducing shedding, so I’m always curious when I come across another scalp serum promising to do both. ViveLab’s Rosemary & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum combines rosemary, caffeine, and peptides in a targeted roll-on, which made it seem particularly easy to work into my routine.
I wanted something that wouldn’t turn my scalp routine into a whole project, while still giving me a reason to keep using it consistently.
Key Takeaways
- Convenient roll-on applicator.
- Easy to apply directly to the scalp.
- Lightweight enough for regular use.
- I didn’t find the application particularly messy.
- Results were not dramatic for me.
- The small amount of product was one of my biggest frustrations.

What Is ViveLab Rosemary & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum?
ViveLab Rosemary & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum is a targeted scalp treatment formulated with rosemary and other ingredients, including caffeine and peptides. It’s designed to be applied directly to areas of the scalp where you’re concerned about thinning or shedding. The product currently sells for around $29.99 for one applicator.
Why I Bought It
The targeted applicator was what initially interested me. I’ve used hair products where you basically end up pouring serum into your hands and hoping you get it onto your scalp rather than all over your hair. This one is designed to apply directly to the scalp, so I liked the idea of being able to focus the product exactly where I wanted it.
The rosemary and peptide combination was another reason I wanted to try it. I was curious whether using something specifically designed for the scalp would give me better results than the general hair oils and serums I’ve tried before.
My Experience Using ViveLab Rosemary & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum
The roll-on applicator made application pretty straightforward. I could run it along the areas of my scalp where I wanted the product without having to get my hands covered in serum first, and that made the whole process feel much less messy.

I also liked that it didn’t leave my hair feeling excessively greasy. That’s important to me with scalp products because I don’t want something that makes my roots look oily immediately after applying it.
The actual results were more difficult to get excited about. I didn’t see a dramatic change in my hair growth or density, and I wouldn’t say this suddenly made my hair look noticeably fuller. There were no obvious before-and-after results that made me feel like I had discovered my new holy-grail hair product.
I did notice that my scalp felt fine while using it, and I didn’t have a major problem incorporating it into my routine. But convenience and tolerability only take a product so far. For me, the real question was whether I could actually see enough of a difference to justify continuing with it. That answer was less clear.
I also found the amount of product frustrating. At around $30 for one applicator, I expected to get more use out of it. That’s probably the biggest drawback for me. Even if you like the serum itself, having to replace it frequently can make the routine considerably more expensive than it initially appears.
So overall, I came away feeling fairly neutral. I liked the concept and the applicator, and I didn’t have a particularly unpleasant experience using it. I just didn’t see enough of a difference to become especially enthusiastic about it.
What I Liked
- Easy, targeted application.
- Roll-on design made scalp application convenient.
- Didn’t leave my hair excessively greasy.
- Simple to incorporate into a routine.
- The formula combines several interesting hair-care ingredients.
What I Didn’t Like
- Results weren’t dramatic for me.
- The amount of product felt limited.
- Frequent repurchasing could get expensive.
- I didn’t notice enough improvement to consider it essential.
Product Claims vs Reality
Claim: Helps reduce hair fall from the root.
My experience: I didn’t notice a dramatic reduction in shedding that I could confidently attribute to the serum.
Claim: Supports thicker, fuller-looking hair.
My experience: I didn’t see a major change in density or fullness.
Claim: Easy targeted application.
My experience: This was probably the strongest part of the product for me. The roll-on made it much easier to apply the serum exactly where I wanted it.
Is It Worth the Price?
I’m not completely convinced. The applicator is convenient, but the relatively small amount of product makes the cost harder to overlook. If I had seen a major improvement in my hair, I’d probably feel differently about having to repurchase it, but my results weren’t strong enough for me to feel that way.
Who I Think Might Like It
This could be worth trying if you:
- Want a targeted scalp serum.
- Prefer roll-on application.
- Don’t like greasy hair oils.
- Want to experiment with rosemary and peptide-based hair care.
Who Should Skip It
I’d skip it if you:
- Want dramatic hair-growth results.
- Go through scalp products quickly.
- Are trying to keep your hair-care spending low.
- Already have a scalp serum that you’re happy with.

Conclusion
ViveLab Rosemary & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum was a fairly average experience for me. I liked the roll-on applicator and found it much easier to target my scalp than some of the messier hair oils I’ve used, and the serum itself was comfortable enough to incorporate into my routine.
The problem was that I didn’t see enough of a difference in my hair to get particularly excited about it. Add in the fact that the applicator doesn’t contain as much product as I’d like for the price, and it becomes harder for me to justify keeping it in regular rotation.
It’s not a product I disliked. I just didn’t get the kind of results that would make me rush out to buy another one.
Would I buy it again?
Probably not. The application was convenient, but the results weren’t strong enough for me to justify the cost.
Would I recommend it?
Maybe, but cautiously. If the targeted applicator is particularly appealing to you, I can see the attraction. Personally, though, I’d rather spend the money on a hair serum that gives me a more noticeable payoff.
