Liketonline Cooling Ace Review – I Bought It So You Don’t Have To

By Nora May4,2025

The Liketonline Cooling Ace is advertised as a sleek, bladeless mini air cooler that promises hours of refreshing mist and chill air using only water and a USB cable. It’s supposed to be whisper-quiet, ultra-portable, and the perfect personal solution for summer heat. Sounds like a dream, right?

In this review, I’ll share my real experience with the Liketonline Cooling Ace, what actually worked (barely), and what made me feel like I’d fallen for another overhyped gadget.

What Is the Liketonline Cooling Ace?

The Liketonline Cooling Ace is marketed as a bladeless mini air conditioner. It features a built-in water tank, three fan speeds, a misting function, and a USB power source. The box claims up to 12 hours of cooling, quiet operation, and a noticeable temperature drop all in a palm-sized device.

It’s heavily promoted online, especially on TikTok and Instagram ads, usually with glowing testimonials. That’s what reeled me in.

My Experience Using the Liketonline Cooling Ace

I ordered the Liketonline Cooling Ace during a particularly brutal heatwave, hoping it might make my home office slightly more bearable. When it arrived, the packaging looked decent, but the actual device felt underwhelming, super lightweight and plasticky. Like, toy-fan light.

Setup was simple: fill the tank, plug in the USB, and press the power button. I sat in front of it, fully bracing for a little miracle.

At first, there was a small puff of cool-ish air mixed with mist which is enough to feel on your face if you sat inches away. But move even a foot back, and that effect basically disappeared. It didn’t cool the room, or even the space around me. It was more like a personal humidifier with a gentle fan.

After about 3 hours, the water tank was dry. Nowhere near the promised 12 hours.

Worse? By day three, the fan started clicking and making a weird mechanical noise that got louder every time I turned it on. I also noticed the misting nozzle started dripping instead of spraying evenly. So much for a refreshing breeze.

Pros

  • Cute, minimalist design
  • USB-powered and portable
  • Safe bladeless fan
  • Decent as a desk humidifier

Cons

  • Weak airflow that is only effective if you’re directly in front of it
  • Tiny water tank and constant refills needed
  • No noticeable room cooling effect
  • Started making noise within days
  • Overhyped and overpriced for what it is
  • “12-hour runtime” claim is false

Features

  • Bladeless cooling fan
  • Built-in water tank with mist spray
  • Three fan speeds
  • USB-powered
  • Compact and lightweight
  • Claimed 12-hour battery life (actual: ~3 hours)

How Much Does It Cost?

Prices vary, but I paid around $60 for mine on Liketonline’s official site. You can sometimes find similar versions for much less on Amazon or AliExpress under different brand names which makes me suspect it’s just a dropshipped item.

Is It Worth It?

In my opinion? No. The Liketonline Cooling Ace might seem like a good idea for beating the heat, but in practice, it’s more of a novelty than a useful appliance. If you’re looking for a true cooling solution, this isn’t it.

You’re better off spending that money on a powerful desk fan or a personal air conditioner with real cooling power.

Alternatives

If you actually want something that works, try:

  • Evapolar evaCHILL
  • Honeywell TurboForce HTF090B
  • Jisulife Portable Neck Fan

Conclusion

The Liketonline Cooling Ace looks good in ads, but it fails to live up to the hype. The misting fan is weak, the cooling effect is minimal, and the quality just isn’t there. It might be cute on your desk, but don’t expect it to save you from summer heat.

Would I repurchase? Definitely not. I’d rather sweat in silence than overpay for another weak fan in disguise.
