Beware of Fideleer.com – Fake CUPSHE Website

By maria Jul25,2024

Did you come across Fideleer.com offering 90% off on women’s dresses and tops using CUPSHE logo? Even though the website looks legit, there are several warning signs that it might be a scam. This is part of a bigger trend where scammers use trusted brand names to trick people.

Fideleer.com

A Close Look At Fiedleer.com

Fiedleer.com is a dubious website that makes use of CUPSHE logo, images, and text to trick people into believing they’re a legitimate company. The company tricks customers by promising real CUPSHE swimwear at a lower price. But when people buy from them, they end up disappointed.

Here are just some of the reasons why it’s suspected to be a scam shopping site:

Not Affiliated To CUPSHE

From the registration details to the email address provided, none reflects  CUPSHE, a genuine clothing brand.

Fake Images

The model pictures on their website have their faces cropped out, a tactic often used by scam sites. A reverse image search showed similar clothes listed on another website, raising more red flags.

Misleading Advertising

The ads use fake, photoshopped images and make big promises like very low prices to attract you. They even use a Cupshe brand image to avoid text filters.

Limited Contact

The only way to reach them is by email at [email protected]. They don’t provide a phone number, real social media accounts, or a company address.

No Customer Reviews

There are no reviews online showing happy customers. We headed over to review websites like Trustpilot but found no genuine reviews, so it looks like this could be a scam.

Unbelievable Deals

The website offers prices that seem too good to be true on all products. They use misleading ads on social media with these unbelievable deals to attract customers to their site and get them to make a purchase.

How To Spot Suspicous Websites

Check the Website Address

Look out for strange website names. Be wary of .net or .org sites and use a domain checker to see when it was made.

Watch Out for Too Good Deals

Super low prices are often a red flag. Be cautious with pushy sales tactics. Like 90% off, 50% off, clearance sales, these are words used by scammers to lure buyers into making purchase on their website.

Look for Contact Info

Legit sites will have clear contact details such as email, phone number etc. Be wary of sites with only a contact form or no contact form at all.

Read Online Reviews

Check reviews on trusted sites. Look at the company’s social media for reviews. If you find none, be very skeptical about shopping from the website.

What To Do If You Got Scammed

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and void.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Report the Fraud To Relevant Authorities

Report the scam to relevant authorities and organizations. This includes:

Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.

Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.
