Nostalgic Box Reviews – Scam Retro Game Console?

By Samantha Nov6,2024

Do you want to buy Nostalgic Box Gaming Console? If you’re a fan of classic retro games, the Nostalgic Box 50% off discount might catch your eyes, but unfortunately, nostalgicbox.co.uk is not a legit online store. Below, I reveal my findings about the website.

Nostalgic Box Reviews

According to nostalgicbox.co.uk, Nostalgic Box Game Console offers players the opportunity to play more than  30,000 classic retro games. Sold for £49.99, the package contains 2 wireless modern controllers, a game stick, and pre-installed retro games.

The Nostalgic Box might seem like a great purchase but it doesn’t offer value for its price. It would have the following flaws; poor graphics, inability to save game progress, can’t turn off music on main screen, no instructions, not all games play, e.t.c.

Meanwhile, nostalgicbox.co.uk has several red flags that indicate it’s a scam store and buyers may not receive anything after payment;

Red Flags Revealing Nostalgicbox.co.uk Scam

Lacks Transparency

Though the store claims to be located in United Kingdom, there’s an absence of its exact address on the store or even on its Facebook page. This is often common with fraudulent stores who do not want to be traced and jailed by scammed customers.

Suspicious Nature

Another red flag and a cause of worry to customers is the absence of email address or telephone number to reach the store. Closing off all communication channels indicate that Nostalgicbox.co.uk has sinister plans.

Dubious Reviews

The reviews on Nostalgicbox.co.uk product page are suspicious and unverifiable. For instance, there’s no date, also they are all five stars. Reverse image search on the review images further proved that the reviews are fake. The images have been used elsewhere.

Might Shut Down Anytime Soon

Nostalgicbox.co.uk was launched again in October 2024 and would expire in October 2025. This indicates the website was created for a short term plan. Reputable websites typically register domains for multiple years, indicating stability and a commitment to their business.

Copied Content

The content on the website are generic. The About Us, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been copied. Legitimate business always source and provide their own legal pages in order to protect both the business and customers right.

What To Do If You Got Scammed

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and wouldn’t be charged in the future by the store.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.
