I bought the HeatFlash Heater because winter nights were getting unbearable, and I genuinely hoped this tiny thing would warm up my space without sending my electric bill to the moon. Sadly, what I got was… not that.

What Is the HeatFlash Heater?
HeatFlash Heater is a small plug-in “mini heater” heavily promoted online as an energy-efficient, fast-heating solution for small rooms, bedrooms, and offices. It’s usually sold through ads and pop-up websites under different names, all claiming advanced heating technology despite being identical to cheap AliExpress units.
Why I Bought It
My intention was simple: I needed a quick, affordable heater to warm up a corner of my living room without using my main heating system. The ads made HeatFlash look powerful and modern, and the “50–70% off today only” pressure got to me. So, I bought it, thinking I had nothing to lose.
My Experience Using It
When the package arrived, the first thing I noticed was how light and plasticky the heater felt. It didn’t have that sturdy, reassuring weight small appliances usually have. Still, I plugged it in, hoping for the best.

My first impression? It barely produced warmth beyond a foot away. I kept touching the front to see if maybe I was imagining things, but no, the heat output was low, uneven, and honestly disappointing. Even after running it for 20 minutes, the room temperature didn’t change at all.
There was also a faint burning-plastic smell the first few uses, which instantly made me uneasy. I kept checking the outlet to be sure nothing was overheating. I tried moving it closer to me, tried different sockets, tried using it in a smaller enclosed area… still the same weak performance. At one point, it shut off suddenly, then restarted by itself, which was unsettling.
Overall, the heater looked cute in the ads, but in real life, it just didn’t deliver anything close to meaningful warmth.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Compact and easy to move
- Very cheap (but for a reason…)
- Simple to set up
Cons
- Barely heats anything… tiny heat output
- Feels cheap and fragile
- Overpriced compared to identical products on AliExpress
- Emits a burning smell during early use
- Not safe for prolonged use
- No real change in room temperature
- Noise level higher than expected for something so small
Is It a Scam?
Not necessarily a scam, but very misleading. The marketing claims fast heating, energy efficiency, and powerful warmth, but the product simply can’t deliver that. It’s also dropshipped, meaning the brand buys a cheap $10 heater, rebrands it, and sells it to you for $40–$60.
Alternatives
- Lasko Ceramic Space Heater
- Vornado VH200
- Dreo Atom One Portable Heater
Conclusion — Would I Recommend It?
No, I wouldn’t. It’s too weak, too cheaply made, and the marketing overpromises what the product can realistically do. There are far better heaters from trusted brands that actually warm a room and last years, not weeks.
